Hebee Pottery Summer Pottery Class

4 week pottery classes starting August 5th

You can unleash your creativity and embark on a journey of self-expression with our four week pottery classes. Whether you’re a beginner or have some experience, our classes cater to all skill levels. Join us and let your hands create wonders on the pottery wheel!

IF There are open wheels in the studio you can join the group  your session just ends on a different week . 

Each students comes in the studio with different expectations / goals  we work with each student individually to meet their goals. I have found it is better to have a mix of students at different levels New people like seeing  other students work and how they have progressed in the class.

These are beginners to advanced pottery classes :

Classes meet  at the specified day and time

Students get 15 pounds of clay  for their projects

We have Four  or Eight Week Classes

Beginners will learn how the center clay and throw basic objects such as cylinders and and bowls and will advance at their own pace

Each week you are welcome to enjoy up to 4 additional hours of Open Studio time

You can purchase additional clay  if needed  firing cost will be included in the cost of the clay.

Weeks 1-3 we will be building, in week 4, while your piece’s are being bisque fired we will show you different methods of glazing and  glaze a complimentary sample pieces.

Week 5 you will glaze your pieces. If needed you may use open studio time to finish glazing 

Please Note:
1. Makeup Classes are not offered, unless it is due to holidays or weather conditions, you can substitute lost class time with Open Studio time.
2. You have up to two additional  weeks to finish your  work and use up your allotted Open Studio time.
3. You are responsible for cleaning your station after each class.
4. Pieces not picked up within 6 weeks  from end of last class date will be donated unless an arrangement has been made with Hebee Pottery
