My Saturday Morning Pottery Classes are perfect for busy individuals and families eager to explore their creative side. We’re excited to welcome new students, ages 8 to 88

I’ll have the coffee brewing and the teapot ready for everyone who attends—this class is as much about community as it is about clay!

Designed for all levels, from beginners to more experienced potters, this class offers a welcoming space for anyone looking to improve their skills.

If you're just starting out, you’ll receive personalized guidance in centering clay and throwing basic forms like cylinders and bowls. More advanced students may be looking to fine-tune their technique or get back into pottery after some time away.

Classes meet every Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM,

Classes begin February 8th .  and Feb 15th

What sets our classes apart is the individualized approach—this is not your typical pottery class.

We keep class sizes small, with a maximum of 6 students, so you get the attention you deserve. Every student works at their own pace, and the curriculum is flexible, focusing on your personal goals and what you want to get out of the experience.

Each student will receive 25 pounds of clay and full access to the studio's tools and equipment. Over the first 7 weeks, we’ll focus on building your skills—starting with basic forms and moving to more complex pieces as you progress. During Week 8, you'll have the opportunity to glaze your creations.

In addition to class time, you’re welcome to take advantage of up to 4 extra hours of Open Studio time each week. If you need more clay, you can purchase it, and firing costs are included in the price of the clay.
