Its OK Okay to Make 'Ugly' Pottery:

Lets embrace Imperfection in a Perfectionistic World"

Let's be real: you're expected to be perfect. Perfect employee, perfect employer, perfect partner, perfect [insert Your  profession],but life,  life's messy. And that's where the magic happens."

In our classes there is only one rule.

 You Must Have Fun .

It might sound weird at first but think about it, if you are having fun everything else can be worked out. You are learning a process just like learning work tasks, but we focus on you having fun learning the tasks rather than getting them perfect right from the start.

"I see it all the time in my classes. Someone comes in with a vision of the perfect [plate, mug, bowl], but then the clay has other ideas. And that's where the magic really begins.

I remember one of our students who was determined to make a perfect dinner plate. She was getting increasingly frustrated because she couldn't get the edges quite right. Life gets that way, right? You have a plan, and then things don't go exactly as you expected.

So, I showed her how she could embrace the wonkiness and create some gentle curves in the rim. Boom! Suddenly, she had a beautiful little serving platter. And you know what? She liked what she ended up with way better than if she had made that 'perfect' dinner plate. It's all about perception and how you can adapt."

Your wonky pottery pieces tell a story, as you go through the class you can see how you have grown one from set of pots to the other, just like your lives experiences. This time around you get to keep physical items so you can talk about your journey.

Are You Ready to ditch the pressure to be perfect and discover the joy of creating with your hands? Our pottery classes are a safe and supportive space where you can let go of your inner critic, embrace imperfection, and create something beautiful (even if it's a little wonky!).

Don't worry if you've never touched clay before – our classes are designed for beginners, and we'll guide you every step of the way.
